The Story

When Cerde and Shawn envisioned their ideal wedding reception they knew that they wanted it to be a true reflection of who they are.

Breaking away from traditional norms, they opted for a celebration on the road during Miami Carnival. With its deep cultural roots and historical significance, Carnival represents more than just a festival. It's a tribute to freedom and honors their ancestors.

They're excited to have you join them in celebrating their union and embracing their culture. Come dance, chip, and celebrate with them in authentic Caribbean fashion!

Agenda

The main event is the Miami Carnival Parade on Sunday October 13th but why not make a weekend of it?

Saturday - Oct 12th: J'Ouvert - 7am - 12pm
A celebration of daybreak symbolizing the emancipation of the Caribbean people. This is included in your costume package.
Sunday - Oct 13th: Miami Carnival Parade - 11am - 6pm
The main event, where we will be chipping down the road participating in the parade. This is included in your costume package.

Cost

The minimum cost for your costume package is stated below. Everything outside of the costume package will be up to you.

Carnival: Men ($450) - Women ($475)
We will be celebrating with the band Euphoria Mas and the section is Bouyon. Your package will include costume, drinks, and food for 2 days J’Ouvert and Carnival. It also includes access to the parade route and access to our private party bus.
J'Ouvert: Included
Your Saturday J'Ouvert package is included in the cost of your costume.
Accommodations: This is up to you
As we get closer to the event we will provide you with more details about where we’re staying and where all of the activities are taking place. We will also provide you with some potential options for accommodations.

To join us on the road, you must purchase a costume. You do not need to pay the full amount upfront; you can reserve your spot with a deposit. Our costume (section) is called Bouyon. The Euphoria Mas website provides information on the available styles and you can register here with you deposit or full payment.
